This past Saturday, Distributor Wire & Cable was able to 'Give Back, A lot ' to a great cause. Throughout the Major League Baseball season, DWC has had a charity partnership with the Colorado Rockies. This past Saturday was a chance to celebrate that partnership with DWC donating another $15,000 to the American Heart Association. Huge shout-out to the Colorado Rockies and the American Heart Association for helping DWC make our 2023 Walks for Heart Health charity campaign, a huge success!
The American Heart Association became one of DWC’s core charitable causes a few years ago when we lost one of our DWC Family members to a sudden heart attack. With our corporate value of Give Back, A Lot, the impact of that tragedy inspired us to get involved in this charity. Heart disease and stroke are the number one cause of death among Americans. Our hope is that the money we raised with the Colorado Rockies will help fund research and prevention efforts to improve and save lives.
