In a weekend filled with purpose, DWC Family members from all over the country came together to take part in two remarkable events that epitomizes Distributor Wire & Cable's commitment to community, wellness, and togetherness.
Denver Heart Walk
To start off the day, the DWC family enthusiastically participated in the Denver Heart Walk, an annual event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for cardiovascular health. The Heart Walk is a community-based initiative organized by the American Heart Association, aimed at promoting heart-healthy living and supporting research for cardiovascular diseases. DWC's involvement in this event comes from a commitment to not only the well-being of employees but also to the betterment of our community as a whole.
As the DWC team walked the designated route, we had conversations with fellow participants, sharing stories, and experiences related to heart health. Participation in the Heart Walk not only allows DWC employees to actively support cardiovascular research and educational programs, but also fosters a sense of togetherness. Through our involvement in the Heart Walk, DWC contributes to the American Heart Association's mission of reducing the impact of cardiovascular diseases and improving the overall well-being of individuals. Our participation not only made a positive impact on the community but also served as a source of inspiration for others to get involved and support this vital cause that touches so many people.
2023 DWC Family Picnic
DWC's family picnic was also held on Saturday afternoon, June 3rd, and was an incredible gathering filled with fun, laughter, and delicious food. The event took place in beautiful Anderson Park in Wheat ridge, CO, where the DWC Family came together to enjoy an amazing afternoon.
What made this picnic truly special was the presence of the DWC Family members who had traveled from all over the country to be part of this memorable occasion. The picnic served as a reminder of DWC's extraordinary culture, and the value of seising the opportunity to build relationships. It was really special to have a chance to spend the afternoon with DWCers from all over the United States. It was a day filled with laughter, fun & games, delicious food, and memories that we can look back on by for years to come.
