Distributor Wire hosted The DWC March Madness Contest for all of its distributor partners to play. Big prizes were awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and even last place.

“With over 250 players competing in this year’s contest the competition was fierce,” mentioned Robert McCord, outside sales agent for Distributor Wire.

Contest players were awarded a select number of points for each winner based on the round of the tournament. Picking the champion resulted in 32 points. All picks for each round were made online at ncaab.distributorwire.com prior to tip off and players point totals were tracked on real time leaderboards throughout the contest inside their account.

The big winner was Kevin Schnider from Stuart C. Irby Co. in Denver, CO (pictured on the right in the photo above with DWC sales manager Robert Saldi)) who correctly picked the Duke Blue Devils winning the tournament. Kevin walked away with a full high-def home theatre system including a blu-ray player for his winning bracket. Second place went to Randy Goodsell from Crum Electric who earns a XBOX system and 2010 NCAAB game. 3rd place went to Sal Baca at Border States in Albuquerque, NM. He won a Zoom Q3 Video recorder.

DWC already plans to host next year’s March Madness Contest promising even better prizes for the top finishers.
