With Operation Giveback, DWC pledged to send one box of non-perishable supplies to a member of the 2nd Battalion 1st Marine Truck Platoon Unit #40185 for every $500 order place by their distributor partners. This promotional event for our troops started April 1^st and concluded on Memorial Day.

“I think we all know someone who has served this country in the armed forces. It was great to be able to give back to them,” stated Krystal Spurr, outside sales agent for Distributor Wire.

Employees at Distributor Wire packaged the boxes for shipment overseas on Memorial weekend. Many items were sent to the troops including razors, snacks, books and games.

“We run charitable promotions throughout the year but this one was especially meaningful. Our military is in real need of these types of items and we hope we have made a small difference during their time in the Middle East. We plan to continue this annual tradition for as long as the troops are overseas,” mentioned Sheila Gentile, head of operations at DWC.
